Japanese Takahashi Hiroaki (1871-1945) color woodblock print of a cat with a bandana titled "Tama", dated Taisho 13, sealed Shotei (his go from 1907-22) and signed Hiroaki, pub: Watanabe Shozaburo, Watanabe 1936 cat no. E1, 10 x 14". Takahashi studied Japanese-style painting with his uncle Matsumoto Fuko. He began designing prints for Watanabe in 1907. All his blocks under the go Shotei were destroyed during the great earthquake in 1923. He died in Hiroshima in 1945.
